Bought as the title said "Cat Scratching Post" as natural jute rope. That gave me an idea. Being jute it should yield stronger qualities and with 100 feet I should have plenty to make a cow scratching post. Being on the farm, and around this time of year, they start scratching against the steel lean-to shed or cattle fencing, which can be harmful to both them and the panels. I am sinking a huge wood post with plenty of room around and will wrap it in this rope. I will see how long it lasts in the elements and durability of large animals. A much better solution I feel than trying something synthetic and will be nice on the environment when it eventually gives way.

Very nice rope for a variety of uses. I'll be adding it to the nautical theme of my wooden deck, for which it should look awesome!
