Material is stretchy and soft, no weird smells and washed well with hang dry. It is on the thin side which can be good for cosplay/costumes but it is so thin it is see through which means wife will have to wear something under it, defeating the pro of it being thin. The sleeves are a good length and the overall length is long but that is to be expected as she is 5'2. The size was true to the size chart for the XXXL and even the belt fit with room (48" long in the XXXL package). One thing to note is that the neck hole is extremely tight and conforming. If you are claustrophobic, this will be an issue. Overall it is pretty good quality for the price and it is great that it comes in a plus size as most cosplay, even when they say 3x, usually max out at large/X-large.

I am 5’4” and 112 lbs, and the belt barely fit around my waist. There is about an inch and a half of Velcro showing, which is a little bit of a concern because it’s the scratchy side of the velcro that catches on everything. I like that there’s no zipper or Velcro closure on the back of the dress, but my tiny head barely fits through the neck hole to get the costume on. I wish I could give it like 3 1/2 stars, because I’ll probably end up keeping it, but it is clearly cheaply made. Smells like chemicals, which I guess is to be expected of a cheap costume, but now I need to figure out how to get the smell out without ruining the costume.
