Did not work on the neighbors annoying dog at all. It will stop out of curiosity because it heard a new sound, then just continue with the same annoying vigor as per usual.

My neighbor's dog has made working from home a special kind of torture for months now. This anti-barking device has been a total game-changer. Installation took all of 2 minutes - just charge it up, mount it on the fence facing my neighbor's yard, and set the mode. I started with the lowest setting which worked for a few days until the dog adjusted, then bumped it up to medium which seems to be the sweet spot.The remote control is surprisingly useful - I can trigger it manually when the automatic detection misses a barking session. Battery life is solid, getting about 3 weeks between charges even with frequent activations. The weatherproof design has held up perfectly through two rainstorms without any issues.What I appreciate most is that it's completely harmless to the dog - just emits an ultrasonic tone that interrupts the barking pattern without causing distress. My neighbor hasn't even noticed it's there, but I can finally take Zoom calls without apologizing for the background noise. The only minor issue is the detection range could be a bit better, but positioning it properly solved that problem. If you're dealing with nuisance barking, this device delivers real results without causing neighborhood drama.

Had this 2nd day now, noticed it doesn't always work but it did somewhat lessen their barking (maybe no postman and other delivery drivers at the time I observed) Until the weekend comes where I have more time at home instead of just nights after work, I won't really know if this is working that well. I did had to switch to the 2nd signal so I think I will switch the signal every other day so they won't get used to the same frequency all the time. I will try to update this after a week, but so far I did notice less barking - again i'm not at home until after work.Will give my final review/update a week from or after the weekend and the following week.

I noticed some folk saying that it was not effective in stopping the barking of their neighbors dog... which makes sense given that dog is not near by. I found this most effective when used in a closed room, or right where the dog likes to sit an bark. So, if I have to leave her home alone, it goes in the closed bedroom with her, and it limits her barking significantly. If I am home and she wants to hang in the front window and bark at the passers by, then having one right there helps limit that. It is an effective tool to be used along side training.
