These padded shorts are great for new snowboarders like myself, who spend a lot of time falling on hard snow while trying to learn to shred. Don't be proud, save yourself the pain and pick these up!

I got one pair of these for my son and he liked them so much I got another for my husband. These protective shorts will be great for snowboarding but could also be worn for outdoor skating (not in place of hockey gear), sledding, or skiing. The padding provides good protection for the tailbone which is awesome for snowboarding especially.

This has been great in helping my sister overcome her fear of snowboarding. Now with extra padded protection, she feels alot safer in making moves and progressing on the slopes. It's relatively lightweight, not horrendously ostentatious like those turtle backs and provides enough cushion in case of mistakes. Definitely a huge plus!
