Haven't been able to use yet because one leg cap is missing. Otherwise it looks like it will be sturdy after I go to the hardware store and buy one which is quite a nuisance. Thus the low rating.

My ancient sleeve board was beyond help, so I looked for something similar. This board I'm reviewing was marked down by almost half, so I ordered it.This is definitely an economical version of a tailor's wooden version, so I didn't expect craftsmanship. The support underneath that keeps the legs from collapsing is a huge plus. There's virtually no padding, and the shiny grey cover fabric is not staying. I keep extra muslin and cotton batting on hand for my other ironing tools, and I'll just use the existing cover as a pattern. So, if you can afford a $50+ version, this one will feel flimsy. I'd rather take the savings and buy more fabric!

If you sew garments with sleeves or children's wear, this is a "must have" item in your sewing room. I bought this to replace a cheaply made board by another manufacturer; that board was poorly balanced and would topple over when any weight was applied. The Dritz board is worth its cost.My only objection is with the packaging - an adhesive residue sticks to the fabric when the wrapping is removed. It eventually wears off but Dritz should find a better way to package this product.
