Logistic Ratchet Strap with E Track Spring Fittings for Cargo Tie-Down in Trailers, Vans, and TrucksWhen you transport freight in your truck or trailer, ratchet straps with E track fittings offer the most versatile security for your load. They are compact and simple to use, adjustable for all size loads and trucks, and most of all, reliable.
These 16' long straps are furnished with spring Etrack fittings on both ends. Once cargo is secured with a ratchet strap, the load is * to be immovable.
See the instructions below for easy how-to guidance. Be sure to check out the 6th picture shown above for a visual guide, and see all the images (click the pictures for additional pictures to show) to understand how this strap can be used.
1. Open the ratchet by pressing the lever on the handle and lifting the handle.
2. Slide the strap through the bar on the handle and bring it back over the bar.
3. Press the lever on one of the spring fitting end attachments and clip into a slot on any vertical or horizontal E track rail or single.
4. Clip the other spring fitting into an E track on the opposite wall or on the other side of your load.
5. Pull the slack all the way and then pump the ratchet to tighten the strap around the cargo.
6. To lock the strap in place, close the ratchet all way the way.
7. To release the strap, open the handle all the way and pull the lower strap out.

These seem really strong and well-built. However, they are not usable by me. I bought them to secure things between the E-Track rails on either side of my trailer, which are about 3-ft apart. Even going over all the items I need to secure, the length of strap between one end and the ratchet is so long that I have no room to cinch it down on the items. The distance between the ratchet and the fixed side of the strap is over 4 feet, which means you really can only strap things down between E-Track rails that are well over four feet apart.

Works as advertised. Much cheaper option than going to the local stores, not to mention many don't carry this particular type of strap.
