So this seems to be decent emulsion. I’m still need to screen printing and this is the second kind. I’ve tried the first one completely failed, but you can see in the pictures that I’m still testing it out as you can see some turned out horrible and one turned out decently good. I’ve learned with this stuff that about 3 1/2 minutes under the exposure. Light seems to break apart. This emotion pretty good at anything under or over that either overexpose is it or under exposes it. And I’m using a 20 voltage light. Overall it’s very sticky and I did spill it on my floor and it will never come out again. I guess that’s just the case with all emotion though I’ve only had it for a few weeks so so far it’s lasted and I’m still learning how to screen print so don’t expect it to fail for you as well, but after a few tries, I got it down and I had a decent screen!

I mixed this over 2 months ago and it’s still working great. Just setting my shop up after a 10 year hiatus from screen printing. Gave this a shot and it worked well with 2 500w halogen bulbs from 24”- took about 8 minutes. I’ve recently purchased an LED exposure unit and using a step calculator I’ve got my exposure down to 117 seconds on 125 mesh. Buying quart sizes as I don’t have an even flow of business, but it works great and lasts a long time. I’ve printed over 72 shirts on 1 screen and haven’t had problems. No pin holes, washes out easy, screens reclaim easily. Would recommend using the free step calculator PDF from Anthem Screen Printing before trying to expose anything.

First time using the stuff and I was a little hesitant, but hands down the best photo emulsion I've used.It goes on smoothly, coats nicely, and dries fast too. I had no problems using my dyi light set up. Achieved details I've never been able go get before with any brand out there. And best of all it's very durable. Love the stuff!!!

This was the first emulsion I ever used, so not much to compare here. I did do a lot of research into various emulsions and which one would be the most forgiving for my situation (I'm a hobbyist and use the sun for exposure). I had read enough about using emulsion to know in how many ways things can go wrong (film positives not dark enough, over or under-exposure etc). I made sure I mixed the diazo extremely well, used a yellow bug light in a dark room etc. It was also my first time using a scoop coater to add to the challenge (one coat on each side, but even my messed up, unevenly double-coated screens came out great)I'm happy to say that to my surprise, I consistently have had great results with my non pro set up. I have exposed 156, 180, 200, and 230 mesh and have gotten great detail and no problems whatsoever with washout. After exposure, I just soaked both sides with sprayer, wait and slowly start washing out. I didn't have a pressure washer, just a garden hose with adjustable nozzle in my shower and found even the smallest details to wash out easily without high pressure.I have used both plastisol and water based ink without problems, but again I only print a few prints, not production runs, to know how this emulsion holds up.Reclaiming screens was easy with the Emulsion remover. Just follow directions.Too bad emulsion doesn't have a longer shelf life after mixing.
