Bought this to go to Portugal, where there were known pickpockets. Took lots of pictures with phone, heard thieves can just run by, goodbye phone.I was really concerned about this. Only saw one instance where pickpockets were being chased out by locals… but a few times I saw that the big clip attached to my satchel… BUT luckily I double clipped it so there was that redundancy.Now I can’t say if it was really unclipped by a person or if it just became unclipped during busy day. But knowing that my phone was still secured due to my second redundancy made me can better.Then I got wise though and just double-clipped it to my belt loop.Anyway I will use this anytime I travel. Especially when taking pictures where dropping the phone would be bad news (like a long drop). Only downside is the paint on the main clip chips a bit after use. But still great.100% recommendation this product.Oh and I really like the quick unclip feature to detach phone. In picture I quickly removed it so tourguide could take a picture.

I love this little tool! I was looking for a way to keep my phone from falling out of the tree while I deer hunt, and found this product. I’ve seen the silicone products that stretch over the back of the phone, but I feel like something that has to be stretched over and over will fail at some point. With this product, I was worried that the included tether tab would conflict with my otterbox defender case, but it works perfectly with it and I hardly notice it’s there. The retractable leash/tether is a really easy way to keep my phone tight to my body without having to constantly put my phone in my pocket and fish it back out. I clip it onto my safety harness and it holds my phone right at pocket level. When I see a deer I just drop my phone. No need to worry about putting it down carefully or fighting through layers to put it in my pocket. This is a really convenient tool that gives me peace of mind when I’m 25+ feet up in a tree

If you're someone like me , who drops their phone multiple times a day , then you NEED THIS! I saw someone using something like this on their go pro while skiing and I knew that's what I needed for my phone. I found this one and it worked great. Saved my phone from tons of falls. Over time the retractable rope did stop working, but it lasted a long time and I ordered another one.
