Our parrot was a bit scared of it in the beginning. I had to present it a few times before he actually enjoyed taking a “shower.” It’s still a work in progress. My heart melted to see him in the water all happy. We might need a bigger tub, but this one works great for now. It does get messy, so you may want to have towels and a mop handy.

This is a nice shower for pet birds. The thing I like most is that its battery operated so there are no cords that the birds can chew on and harm themselves with. The shower has a nice gentle stream that my birds like splashing around under. The tub is a good size and works great for my two quakers to use together. It's not designed for birds, hence the toys included, but it works well for them. I would recommend this product for bird owners; it works well for parrots.

Uses batteries a little faster than I would like, dies fast, that’s my only reason for giving it 4 stars. but if you use rechargeable AA batteries it’s great!

Riot was gifted this neat toy for his one year Gotcha Day! celebration, and gives it four paws and a tail up! Riot can play with his play sink for hours, and enjoys splashing, dunking his head into the basin, putting his head under the spray, and bobbing for the accessories. When his hooman is making their own soupies, he nods to the faucet for it to be turned on, begins washing dishes, and evens puts the, away by scattering the veggies and other accessories all over the kitchen floor. For his help, he is paid in treats, and - score! - the teacups act as tiny water bowls, which come in handy when the rude cat uses his play sink as a water bowl. It’s HIS!The hooman reports not having any issue with the faucet (knock on wood) and found it was easy to put together. The screws are tiny, and a eyeglass screwdriver works great. Easy to clean. Haven’t had a chance to try and store it yet because Riot is a bit possessive, but it looks like it‘d be easy to put away if given the chance.Whether you have an otter for a ferret or a parrot, this toy will keep entertained for hours!
