Bought this as an emergency skirt for Dickens Fair, and this, paired with a black lacy blouse, was perfect. It's versatile, well made, and adjustable thanks to the lace up in the back. The fabric is a synthetic but feels nice, very swishy. It does drapes more than the photo shows, if you want it to bell out, you'll need petticoats or a hoop.I haven't worn it out in the wild yet, but it's nice enough it could step in anyplace you want to feel a little dressy, a little goth. At 5' 5" ish, this hits naturally just below my ankles, the hoops brought it up enough to not be a trip hazard on stairs.

I absolutely loved this skirt, the size is true to size and the fabric is lighter than I expected. The only reason it’s not a 5 star review is because the zipper broke. I did get to wear it 4 times before it broke, but I was unfortunately at an even with no other clothing options when it did…
