We had a huge Mulberry tree here on the homestead menacing one of our outbuildings. Faced with either thousands of dollars for a tree service to remove it or (eventually) paying the deductible for an insurance claim, we decided to take it down ourselves. The angle of the trunk and proximity to the building made climbing it on rope or with gaffs very difficult if not impossible. The logical choice was to notch it so the trunk would hinge away from the building and pull it over with our tractor. Trouble was we didn't have a rope on hand that I trusted pull that much load safely. So I ordered this for our "bull rope", not just for this job, but for other tree work on our homestead as well. I'm sure glad I did! It is great quality, very strong and easy to tie for its size. The price couldn't be beat either. That final trunk (there were three main trunks) came down without a hitch. I couldn't be happier and now have a tool that will serve me well for many more jobs.

This is stiff, rigid rope that barely bends. It's pretty much useless to me. As you can see in the picture, it holds itself up, almost like it has wire in it. Maybe that's useful to someone, but makes this pretty much junk for me.
