It's not quite 6 weeks after the return window closed and the extremely fickle lights on this unit stopped functioning. Booooo!

Aside from the light function, my machine had worked for several years until it showed signs of dying. I am glad you can still find replacements.I see the entire tank has gone up 20 dollars more, so I decided to just replace the fountain.I know this set up has a lot of lemons and you will want to have a separate light for your tank as this one seems to die on most machines. The beautiful design and fountain is still unmatched. I am thrilled to be able to keep using my Chi Fluval aquarium.

Needed this for my tank. Had to wait for delivery around two weeks. When I unpacked it it an an American Plug on the transformer so will have to spend money buying an English one, plus the top part of the waterfall, the plastic dome was missing, so also looking for one of those to prevent water going all over the floor. Decided to return it as it’s not fit for purpose

I purchased this filter to replace an existing filter with non-functioning lights. The new one arrived with some lights out and the remaining shining at less than 20 percent. The pump arrived without the clear top (which I still had from the old one) There also was some slight water marks on the side of the unit suggesting it had been used before.
