TLDR: aesthetic, great price, feels quality, just a few. Durable and different enough, without being large or obnoxious.I used to be a 2-pack-a-day smoker and have cut down to social smoking on holidays only with drinks.That being said, one of the helpful things for me to stay away from the habit has been keeping some smokes around "just in case". I miss the aesthetic of being a smoker, the confidence of a fresh pack, the weight of a traditional lighter, the hospitality of a room prepared for a smoker to relax.What I was looking for, was something small, provided and air of sophistication without being gaudy, that could hold a few smokes and go in my cars glovebox for an emergency.This little holder fits 7 smokes of "regular" size (not king-size, or 100's). The faux-leather is nice to the touch, slides in and out of a pocket easily, and should reject dampness and splashes just fine (don't jump IN the lake though). The magnet clasp was strong but not obnoxious. The middle-bottom part has some give but was not super soft - about the durability of a cardboard pack would normally have, maybe a little more. If you need more protection and don't mind the temptation/feature of carrying more smokes; a hard case may be a better bet.Update September 2024 - rain resistant: Had some family issues that prompted me to use the smokes I keep in my car (which is what I bought this for). Any way, I had gone outside for a smoke and left this pouch and lighter on the table. It started to steadily rain, but because of the material my smokes stayed dry. I wouldn't recommend jumping in a lake, but clearly rain resistant. So, this little pouch saved me from another stressful thing and a night of no relief!

Perfect size for holding up to 7 regular length cigarettes. Good magnetic clasp. Slim and attractive. Will take up less room in my smaller pocketbooks Would definitely recommend

At first, I really like the case, but after a few days I realized the case was easily smashed. The case has no support on the bottom portion.
