Fits as described. Great for covering my bowls while waiting for dough to rise. Does have a funny smell straight out of the packet so may want to clean them before use.

These Tirphy Beeswax Bowl Covers are well made from thick fabric that’s securely stitched to the elastic. They feel durable, and I don’t expect the material to tear away from the elastic. The sizing is generous - my photo shows the small cover on a 6-3/8" bowl, the medium on an 11" bowl, and the large on a 12" bowl. All fit comfortably with room to spare. The instructions mention using "the warmth of your hands ... or half a lemon" to create a seal, which I found a little unclear. I simply placed them over the bowls, and they fit snugly, so I’m confident they’ll work as intended. The packaging is nicely done, and I think these would make a great gift, especially for a baker or anyone eco-conscious. At $17.99 for a set that’s designed to last about a year, the value depends on how often you’d otherwise use plastic covers. It may not save money, but they do go some way in helping to save the planet.

Good range of sizes in a set..the largest will likely fit over a punch bowl which is helpful for large batches of bread. The smallest will fit a cereal bowl nicely. The elastic isnt super strong but should work. Laundering calls for gentle cycle, but realistically they will be washed with the dish towels and cloths on normal to heavy duty and in warm to hot water. Being 100% linen I expected them to shrink, but they are big enough that shouldn't be an issue.Over i would say good value and smart purchase.

I wasnot expecting much when I ordered these bowl covers. I have had beeswax sheets before and found them difficult to use. These bowl covers appear to be a cotton fabric but coated with beeswax. They rinse off easily and store easily. The elastic on the covers is sufficient. I did not find the need to try and warm the cover before using. They worked just fine off the shelf. They are a pretty check sort off design. They easily cover my bowls. I use them to cover the dough for my sourdough bread I make and they are great for this purpose. They are a good value and I would recommend. They are thicker than I thought so that was a pleasant surprise.

The feel of these covers is very different to pretty much anything you ever experienced, I guess is the beeswax coating that makes it feel like that, like is going to be hard and tight, but is actually not that, is weird.Apart for the initial feeling, I am used to it now, they are pretty amazing, they can handle pretty much any bowl, I use the medium sized one with my 6QT bowl of the stand mixer and works great, the others I rarely use, but I have used them on bowls with and without "pourer" and in any case they hold pretty well. Very easy to use, wipe clean and friendly. Highly recommended.
