I'm using this to replace a dogtra collar, as well as a cheap Amazon collar. So I got a shepherd last year and when we started using my old dogtra collar on him, it worked well, but there were times where he would ignore it!Additionally, he needed a bark collar for when I started leaving him at home for a short periods. So I bought a cheap bark collar off Amazon 3x because all three broke, I wanted to stay with the dogtra collar, but I couldn't really find one that had a bark collar built in that was small enough to fit his elusive collar (look it up it's amazing it hides that e-collar, and certain models have a D ring , and handle that I use as a backup)I really like how everything is built into it, both the training collar and bark collar, and how I can operate it from either the remote or on the collar itself.PLUS, the light is awesome. I've been using it at night, and I never have to worry about him, eating some thing or sneaking some thing in his mouth because I can see without having to get on the flashlight, I bought a small light first collar. However, I tried it once and I took it off because turning it on and off, and then watching it hit his face made me not want to use a separate light.The only three things I dont like are1. The aux setting I wish it print was in red, and maybe the lock in blue2. Charging at first seems unnecessarily, complicated, but it's just a USB and micro USB along with a small docking station.3. It doesn't come with a lanyard, or at least a key ring around the attachment spot.Other things I really like how the intensity wheel clicks so I can adjust without having to look, because with the dogtra, my dog learned if I looked at the remote he was about to get a correction which defeats the purpose of the collar in my opinion. And I like how the continuous button works for as long as you push it, because on the dogtra I was constantly second-guessing, which button I pushed, on the Garmin I can push either and get the nic.To have both the training collar and bark limiter together is really convenient, I hope that one day I won't have to use the bark limiter, and I think this will make the transition quicker, as my dog will no longer know when I'm leaving for an extended period of time because I won't have to switch out the collars. 10/10 Get this!. I will do my best to update my review in six months if anything has changed.I forgot to add with the dogtra, my dog used to yelp randomly on different intensities, I haven't really had an issue so far with him yelping, at first, I was wondering if you felt it, but he has been behaving a lot better and when I use it now I trust that it's working and because of that I find myself giving less corrections because he's learning quicker

I was recommended to purchase this product from waterfowl & upland bird guides that use this collar on their dogs. I've found this product helpful as the tone feature alone gets my highly energetic lab's attention well. I have found the bark limiter feature incredibly useful as it gradually increases the vibration as my dog continues to bark vs. full zap after making one small sound. I like the 10 settings for the shock as I would not need the highest setting on my pup unless in emergency. Very water resistant, easy to clean and quick to charge. The battery life lasts me a couple days for the collar and more for the remote. However, I do use the collar minimally vs. dogs that are hunting every day. I think this product is super quality and worth the investment. I did find it a bit confusing how to program and operate as this is my first e-collar I've used.. but once I got the the hang of it I have little issues. Was not asked to leave this review - hope it's helpful to others.
