I've been getting in to solar and battery backup lately and getting a couple lifepo4 batteries to supplement my power stations has been on my list for awhile. Although I primarily plan to charge the batteries via solar, I know there will be quite a bit of time here in the PNW where we just won't have much solar. A charger is of course needed to get things topped up whether from the grid or a propane generator. This charger has worked well so far to top up my batteries and runs fairly cool. It has solid connectors and puts out very close to full rated output. It can also revive a dead battery, which is important as some lifepo4 batteries arrive requiring reviving and your charger needs to be able to support that. I also like the added carry handle as a bonus.

Ordered this DUBIHU 14.6V 20A LiFePO4 Battery Charger to maintain my growing collection of 12v banks. I use several commercial and DIY built banks around the RV and homestead.The charger case is cast aluminum and substantial enough for mobile use. Fan runs constantly while in use but appears good quality and fan noise is acceptable.Once charging reached near full, in the upper knee curve, I observed voltages as high as 14.9. Amperage dropped off as expected and bank BMS disconnected cells once one cell tripped 3.65V upper limit. Charger cycled down for about 60 seconds after battery disconnected, then ramped voltage back up to between 14.4V and 14.9V. This constant voltage feature will be very helpful charging extremely low voltage banks or to awaken a BMS. I have occasions I need to charge series connected bare cells and I won't be able to connect this charger and let it run without monitoring. Not concerned with my BMS protected banks but control parameters of this charger are sloppy enough to over charge unmonitored banks. I WILL NOT be trusting this charger in a unmonitored state.While charging amperage averaged the rated 20A but did fluctuate to as low as 18A and high as 22A. Again, little sloppy in the control circuitry. The included 50A Anderson style connectors are compatible with all my other connectors. DC wiring appears to be 10 AWG and is adequate for power produced by charger.For a monitored charger it's a...Keeper!

This charger has a nice rugged case that would be at home installed in an electric vehicle or off grid system. It also has a carry handle for portable use. It comes with a high power powerpole connector pigtail for installing on a vehicle or piece of equipment for quick connect. Operation is simple, just hook up and wait for the green light. While the manual doesn't explicitly say, it should be ok for leaving connected as a maintenance charger after its main charge cycle. Charging a 100Ahr lifepo4 did not cause it to get loud or overly warm and was only a couple of hours (fairly quick). Good charger for the money so far.

We live off the grid and use mainly solar for our cabin. I sometimes have to supplement with generator backup. I have been using a 10amp LiFeP04 charger so this more than doubles my power input.This charger has some features that I like...just some nice added touches. The housing is metal and has a carrying handle. It is made to be securely mounted which is nice with the built-in mounting points. The cooling fan is good size and visible for easy checking. Best of all, it comes with an adapter cord with ring terminal ends for directly mounting to a battery.The quality seems good for a heavy duty full time use battery charger. I like it.

I'm not as savvy with electronics as others are, so I didn't want to rig up the charger I already have to use with a new LiFePo4 batter. I wanted a charger that was properly rated for the size of LiFePo4 battery I'm using. I also wanted a charger with an easy to see/read light showing how much charging has been done. I'm very pleased with charger. Small size, solid and durable feel, and quick charging. Make sure you check your battery and match the charger accordingly.
