This product is not compatible with the RING Doorbell Generation 2 (2020). in order to be compatible, the power must connect to your Ring Doorbell 2 through the UCB-C connector. Check out the screenshot. After you connect up the solar panel, your app will not recognize the doorbell as hardwired or connected to solar because these doorbells are not designed to accept solar (DC) power via the two little screws in the back. Those screws (poles) are there to hardwire to your existing doorbell low voltage wiring. Of course... This product will be going back.

It has a nice exta long 16 ft cable, and positive and negative screw down leads so can also be used asa trickle charger for a small 12 Volt battery without needing a controller.

This charger is easy to connect to the Ring doorbell, and it shows connected to solar power in the app. Depending on the amount of sun I can get on the panel, this should extend the life of the battery so it doesn't need to be charged as much, or it can eliminate the need to charge altogether. The cable is long enough to be able to move the panel to maximize the amount of sun you can get on it.

This solar panel is very well made. The frame, while it is plastic, is sturdy and there are a lot of screws holding the front panel to the back panel. I was very surprised to measure the voltage as 17 Volts AC! That's right, AC not DC. But solar panels produce DC power so there would have to be a DC to AC converter inside the panel. I disassembled the panel and found a little circuit board that was about 1" x 0.5". The input to the circuit directly from the panel was 16 Volts DC and the output was 17 Volts AC. My intent is to use this panel to charge a small 12 Volt battery, so I bypassed the DC/AC circuit and now have DC output at 16 Volts open circuit.Overall, I'm very happy with the build quality of this panel and the output is impressive for the size.

Low ohm resistance, rated for 300v, and smooth. I'm using for accessory power to the back of my car, so no info on sound quality, but copper is copper. Worry more about your speakers ;) Pulls nicely through tight areas, silicone inner conductor insulators, finely stranded copper conductors for better DC current capacity. Doesn't deform or smoke when overheated, as I did with heat shrinking the ends. Well worth the spend

No lie, the wire is very useful, only thing it’s not the actual length they give you, I ordered a 20 ft wire and they only sent 19 ft, only 1 ft short but tbh I don’t care it works like nothing
