Good straps, strong. Easy to use once I figured the retraction mechanism. The only complaints I have is the instructions are lacking, they took a while to figure out.

I am a novice with strapping down items to my SUV for transportation but I got a nice roof rack and did my best to find the best straps to help me transport the yearly Christmas tree or larger items my kids needed moved from place to place. I have several cheap sets with no instructions and zero storage so I ended up with a mass of twisted junk in a ziplock back rolling around in the back of my car. Now I use Gorilla products for a variety of project in the glue spectrum and truly have built a base of loyalty for their brand reputation and products. However, this is certainly outside Gorilla's normal scope but I 100% believe the company would not ventured into a new product areas without making sure they were on the top of customer expectations. Here, I am thrilled to say I was 100% satisfied just because these straps cam in a very tidy, plastic box that encourages my (or my kids) to store them in the best condition for ease of next use. The box itself if strong plastic and hold the 2 strap set securely in place. Now the straps themselves are by far better, thicker, stronger and better quality than any of the sets I have purchased previously. The ratchet is more user-friendly and I LOVE that the set it Gorilla orange! Again, I am not an expert with tie downs, but for my infrequent use, this is an amazing set that is well made, easy to store and meets everyone of my needs for safe transportation of big items on my roof!
