Es muy estable aún en un ángulo muy inclinado, lo uso para microfonear un bombo y no se mueve para nada es resistente a pesar de que el micrófono para bombo es pesado, los materiales se sienten de primera calidad, excelente producto!!!

Super producto, muy bien manufacturado y ensamblado haciendo honor a la marca. Lo único es que si me gustaría que tuviera un poco más de estabilidad. Lo utilizo para mí podcast con un SM7B y le cuesta un poco mantenerse estable pero para un SM58 no deberían de tener problema.

C'est un bon produit, toutefois...La "tige" télescopique est bloqué ou débloqué par une sorte de "bouton poussoir".Quand la tige est sensé être bloqué elle l'est dans le sens de la contraction. C'est à dire qu'on ne peut plus enfoncer la tige pour la raccourcir. Par contre on peut toujours l'allonger sans trop d'effort et on peut la tourner sur elle même avec peu d'effort aussi.Bref j'aurais aimé que le blocage soit complet, ni contraction, ni allongement, ni rotation.La base est un peu légère. Attention à ne pas mettre quelque chose de trop lourds au bout de la "perche" surtout si elle est penchée.Sinon ce qui est bien c'est que c'est très discret. Çà ne gêne pas pour mettre un micro devant une guitare par exemple par rapport à un pieds normale avec perche.

Bomb-proof construction (I know the type as I also have the full-size mic stand version by the same company).Perfect height for mic'ing up guitar amps, and much more compact, getting in the way less and less likely to get knocked over when a guitar player goes to his/her amp to adjust amp settings.I haven't ACTUALLY used it yet BUT I can tell already it will be way better than a heavy cast-iron round based mini boom stand I was using for the same purpose (until I left it behind at a gig !). The microphone clamp is not something I have seen before, but perhaps useful for things other than just microphones and thus perhaps more versatile ? Personally, I'd prefer a Shure SM58 type mic holder clip (the type that comes free with Shure SM57/58 mics) - but I have spares of those - and have already swapped one over. Very pleased as it also folds much more compact than the previous stand I had before. It isn't a boom stand, just a straight one BUT it can angle a lot instead of only pointing straight upwards, so that kind of means it doesn't need a boom.

The product arrived on time and well packaged, the small box it came in proved how small and discrete the stand is, it's easy to transport and could even fit inside a backpack. I was impressed by how sturdy the stand is and its flexibility makes it perfectly for micing guitar cabs, I primarily use it in a studio environment but I would have no fear using it live on a gig. It's such a simple design but so effective, I would undoubtedly buy another if I need it.

The first thing I noticed was the weight. It felt solid, but not cumbersome. It folds out smartly and adjusts easily. The extra top is such a smart detail. I can keep my kick mic threaded on this top and quickly snap it on and off. Yet another time saver, which is why I like Hercules products in the first place. They set up and tear down quickly, they're relatively light, and they pack well. I just wish they were made in America.
