Base of lamp is to heave it falls over when you extend the lamp arm it will fall 9ver not very good

Light isnt super bright, but does provide a little extra illumination. Works OK when mounted to a table but way too heavy to be held up by the included base.

I have never used a magnifying glass like this before. And I feel like I might struggle with using any magnifying glass right. But so far this seems good. It has a light and that is handy for sure. It is metal and heavy and seems well made. You can adjust it many angles to get it just right. I used it to put on a screen protector on my kid's new phone. It worked fine. I did not try the base, we used it screwed onto a tray table. So I cannot say if I would have the same issues as others with the weight of the base not being enough to hold it up. The base is heavy, just maybe not heavy enough depending on the angle you are using. But again, we did not even use the base ourselves. Using it clamped it worked great.

I've been wanting one of those lamps for a while now. I have a small handheld magnifying glass that I use from time to time due to my sight being a bit bad from up close, but this is quite a step up.The magnifying glass is nicely sized, the added LED lights that is embedded within is definitively an added benefit. You have the option to change the LED intensity as well as the color of it. From warm to daylight to ultra white, giving you the option to use this light as a standard desk light if you wish.Only caveat i saw right away, was the little weight of the base which is not heavy enough. So if you extend the light too far out, it wants to tip over. You have the option to lock it down to your desk or workspace using an included clamp though, but it makes it a bit more stationary than simply using it with it base.This is a great addition to my garage. Quite satisfied with this lamp overall.

This is a fairly decent desk lamp and magnifying glass. It's adjustable, sturdy, and has good length. The magnifying glass is good quality and works very well especially combined with the ring light. The mounting arm is decent quality and holds it's position well. There are two ways to mount this lamp, directly to a desk with a clamp, or to a weighted bottom. The clamp works very well and is sturdy, but the weighted base is not good. The weighted base is not heavy enough to support the lamp when extended, causing it to fall over. Overall, the quality of the magnifying glass and ring light is good, but the weighted base is essentially useless. I would recommend this product only if you're using the clamp method to secure it to your desk.
