I ordered these glass plates for use as spoon/utensil rests in the kitchen. The simple design of clear glass makes them fit with any style of decor. There is a raised 1 cm rim around the edge of each plate, which is great for containing liquids that may drip from a utensil that was used during cooking.These plates also could be used as coasters for hot mugs.The dimensions stated online are not quite correct. The plates are pretty much exactly 5" in diameter, 12.8 cm. They are 1.8 cm in height.The glass seems sturdy and thick. It is not flawless. There are a couple of scratches on the top surface of each plate. Strangely, the scratches are in pretty much the same location of both plates. There is also a cut line on the underside of the rim of each plate. I assume these are the result of the manufacturing process?If you're planning to use these to hold candles, the scratches won't matter because the candles probably will cover the marks. However, I don't think these plates are worth the price of $23 for the set of 2, which makes them $11.50 each.

I have a lot of very nice candles. I also have a lot of furniture that means a lot to me, even if it's not expensive, and I am very concerned about damage. I had been looking for a while for nice, simple, but sturdy plates or stands I could put my candles on that would keep them stable and let me admire them while enjoying them, yet keep the heat off my furniture. These work. Glass can conduct heat but the feet leave a gap and let air flow and the plates have a nice thickness to them (you are also not supposed to burn candles all the way down). I am satisfied with them for my purpose.

These were ordered to use as saucers under a couple small plants. I despise the cheap clear plastic ones you usually see. Was hoping these glass candle plates would do the trick and they sure did. Nicely made, even, solid, sturdy, and a great value.

The glass circle is supported by three glass 'legs' - raised dots. They are level. That's important for a burning pillar candle.The size of the circle is exactly as stated by the Seller.The glass has no visible imperfections.In other words, Perfect.
