Really like the charger, it has worked well for years, barely needed calibration. The power supply function is great on the bench. The fan, however is complete garbage. Started making noise after about a month. Died a few months later. Replaced it, and got another year before that fan was making a racket. And replaced it again last year, and its back to making a racket. Those tiny fans just don't hold up, and noctua doesnt make anything that small. Next rebuild its getting re-cased with a 40mm fan.

The charger works good 8 Amp capable it's compact and easy to use I think mine was returned was a little scuffed up

The drawback is that you have to provide a power source. I had an old laptop power supply that I cut off the jack and soldered on the XT-60. Other than that, great little charger. The menu joystick (if you want to call it that), can be a bit tricky to manipulate, but you will get the hang of it.Mine needed a calibration of Cell #4 because it was charging 0.02 volts higher than reporting, but calibration is easy. After calibration, the final voltage after charge is almost spot on.I have a few old 3DR Solo batteries that are not suitable to fly with anymore, but they work great as a power supply for field charging my freestyle lipo's with this charger.

I'm using it to check internal resistance and capacity of li-Ion packs, and it's great. Nicely designed and great price.Power supply/source is not included.

This charger has every feature you could want for very little money. I paired it with an ISDT PC-4860 parallel charge board and a modified laptop power supply and it's fantastic.There are only two downsides:1) The control scheme. The middle "select" button is nearly impossible to hit. Fortunately they've provided a workaround in the firmware: Just hold up or down for about a second and it will select the highlighted option.2) The clear plastic over the display is very easy to scratch. They include a screen protector but it's nearly impossible to get on straight and if you don't get it right the first time you're out of luck. I'd happily pay a couple more dollars for a top made out of polycarbonate.
