This is a heavy trophy shelf. The shelf and the medal hanger are made of solid metal. The angled inward (toward wall) medal hanger will allow separation between medals (up to 3 layers). The thick metal shelf should be able to support heavy weights without bending. But this leads to a possible negative. You may want to use longer wall screws and anchors instead of what's provided to ensure that the shelf can support heavy items which you plan to display on it. Otherwise, this is a nicely designed trophy shelf.

The medal holder is specifically for my running medals-- I have a ton from different races and separated them by distance. This holder is perfect because of the different "levels" where I'm hanging the medals, depending on the year and event. I also have a handful of podium finishes so the built-in shelf just helps with displaying that, as well.The main hanger and the shelf are made of metal with the hanger being strong enough to hold several pounds of metal (I mounted this to studs). The hanger is wide enough for the medal's ribbon. I do like that this has a bit of a 'wooden element', which gives this medal hanger a bit of warmth (though the wooden element is a small piece of skinny wood, it totally works!)Overall, it's just a great piece to show off and celebrate what your body can do!

I ordered this trophy and ribbon display shelf for my teen's room. He has a ton of ribbons from the fair and trophies from robotics tournaments so I'm always looking for better ways to display them in his room. This shelf was super easy to assemble and my husband was able to get it installed and hung up on the wall pretty quickly. It is a nice brown shelf with black metal parts and is made sturdy and decently heavy but not super heavy on the wall, although I do recommend hanging it on a wall with studs if you plan to also put trophies on top just for some added security. It has the saying "never give up" on metal in the front of the shelf which is cute and a nice saying for those who participate in competitions or work towards a goal. Lol much better than an encouraging cat poster for sure.

I recently bought this awesome medal hanger, and it's seriously amazing! The design is cool – the medals are on an angle, so each one gets its own spotlight. I have close to 50 medals from various races and it does an excellent job of displaying all of them clearly. There is also space to showcase my small trophies which is really a nice touch. It's also tougher than other displays because the metal is super thick, making it look good and last longer. I highly recommend this product – it's a winning choice for anyone passionate about showcasing their achievements.

When mounted the screws did not hold the shelf. Also, one of the small screws would not stay to hold the pieces together. Great concept, but needs some work.
