I set this pump in a low point of my basement to pump water to the real sump. It’s been working well. Cycles on and off as it should.

used for a recent marathon. Worked well. No real issues with the clothing. They take a bit to unsnap, which is good as that ensures the bib does not come out. Some races are trying to get away from using safety pins and this is a good alternative.

Air Conditioner condenser/blower units in attic (not in inside closet) and water drain pipe runs outside to drain condensate water produced.Heretofore, pvc pipe allowed water to drain into yard several feet from house -- but because of space requirements, drain pipe was in the way. Needed a temporary fix to move water away from area so ground wouldn't get muddy in one spot.Found this small pump with automatic water level sensor. Cut opening in empty plastic gallon milk container, put this pump inside, and placed bottle under ac drain pipe next to house. Ran the short plastic hose (included with pump) into a 5 gallon bucket.Was surprised to see almost 3 gallons of water collected in 12 hours. Use the water from 5 gallon plastic bucket to water newly planted trees and shrubs (they seem to like distilled water better than chemically treated city water).Win - Win !As to pump -- first one in operation for over two months and going strong. Ordered second pump to use on other ac unit. Emptying buckets of water will get old, so will eventually run longer hose to drain.No complaint at all on these little pumps EXCEPT am a little uneasy about putting 110 volt device in water! would have thought manufacturer would have used low voltage transformer to run pump?Also, they seem a little expensive. Worked perfect for this application.

Bib held on no issues and no damage to my shirt.They give you a lot but they were easy to take back off so unless you lose them you’ll probably never use all the ones in the pack, so it’s great to have a bunch extra to hand out or use if you lose them.Love these

It’s exactly what it says. It turns on automatically when it senses water over a specific (non-adjustable) threshold.I used it to move runoff water from my hydro irrigation system from the main drain bucket to an auxiliary bucket for manual emptying.It’s not a strong pump. You won’t be able to get more than a foot or two of rise out of it, but that’s all I needed. For the price it’s hard to beat. FYI - It is a noisy pump with a lot of loud suction noises, but I hardly noticed since I have fans and other noise in my grow room.

This pump is good as just a water fountain feature. I don’t think it would work to run my waterfall feature because it doesn’t really have that much power. It seems to get clogged pretty easily so I am having to go out and clean it off every week or so. The cord is also pretty short so it almost didn’t reach into my small pond even using our extension cord. If you just want some kind of fountain feature in the middle of your ornamental pond this is a great pump for that!
