The material is fine. Doesn't fit true to size. My daughter couldn't wear it, the top was too small. The bottoms fit fine though.

This is a cute cropped suit design that is tween-approved. Nice prints. Unfortunately, I ordered size 14-16 and my (30th percentile for weight) 10-year-old could not get the suit on. It was too tight. Thinking it must be a weird mislabeled fluke (size 16? come on!), I ordered a different print in size 14-16, and had the same issue. Size 14-16 does not fit a small 9-10 year-old child. No idea how they expect to sell these! But if you have a 7 or 8 year old kid who likes the design, feel free to try sizing up 4+ sizes. It is a cute suit.

This is such a cute swimsuit, but the sleeves are ridiculously tight and narrow. They are very long, too. My daughter is skinny and she could barely get her arms in those sleeves. The bottoms fit great, so if I get the next size up her bottoms will be too big. This company really needs to read all the reviews and change the cut of these suits.

Recommend doing the “try before you buy” option. And definitely size up. Y’all this rashguard suit is super cute but just too small. We actually bought it to surf, unfortunately it’s not long enough to cover her torso/belly area as much as she needs for surfing. If you don’t care about that then this suit is great. The color is spot on. We ordered a 10. My daughter is a very fit almost 10yr old. 53” tall 65lbs. The arms are a great length but way too tight from the shoulder down to mid forearm and in the armpit. When she raises her arms it lifts up to her belly button. In surfing you have your arms raised and/or stretched out a lot and need the rashguard to cover your stomach to protect from getting scraped by your board. I couldn’t find any measurements for how long it is on this listing but the one we purchased is only 16” long from top of neck to bottom of shirt. This top needs to be about 2 to 3 inches longer. The bottoms fit great but she usually needs smaller there anyway. If your child is any bigger then this height and weight size 10 is definitely to small.
