I have struggled with getting enough light where the fan is in our cottage. This was a simple install, a little wiring but easy and now I have more light.

Disclaimer: All opinions are my own and I pride myself on unbiased reviews that can help others decide whether something is worth it.Wired it into my ceiling fan and it works and is very nice and bright. HOWEVER!. It’s very much NOT 5000K as advertised. I have multiple lights in this area and they are ALL 5000k. Once you turn it on it’s VERY OBVIOUS this color is different. Much more yellow than my other 5000k lights. FYI I have 3 other brands and types of bulbs in this area I’m testing this on and they are all marketed as 5000k. ALL the 5000K lights match in color, including the 5000K retrofit that I replaced with this one. This is the only one that absolutely does not match in color. Also the hardware they sent with this is rusted (I have attached a photo). This will not come with a cover either (most others do). The item itself and the wires were also kinda dirty. I had to wipe it down.
