These are awesome. The only limitation to these is my artistic ability. Much higher quality than the sets you can get a the store. These should last for many Halloween carving years.

Omigosh. This pumpkin carving set looks evil. Never mind that it doesn't come with pumpkin carving tools but also clay carving tools, the serrated edges on each of the included chisels and knives look just as scary as the pumpkins themselves!That said, I'm in love with this set. The selection gives you a wealth of options to choose from when you're engaging in the slippery and sometimes frustrating endeavor of carving out an odd-shaped, gooey mass like a pumpkin. I will say that even the fancy scoop doesn't save you from having to dig your hands into "pumpkin guts" to clean it out, but it does help with getting the more stubborn bits out to make the inside more smooth.The included clay carving tools are the real gem of this set, though. In a pinch, you can use a carving knife to VERY, VERY CAREFULLY carve the main shapes out of the pumpkin, and a sharp pin like a yarn needle or an ice pick to plot out your shapes, but it's difficult to find something to replace the fine carving tools needed to pick out subtle shapes and define contours in a way that lets you get every shade of light you can out of a pumpkin lantern.As long as you've got a plan, these tools, and plenty of newspaper to work on, your pumpkin carving life is set for success!

There was something for everyone in this set. They had a nice sturdy feel and good grip. They worked great and a really good value.

It's hard to find good quality pumpkin carving tools and this set exceeded my expectations! They come with a really nice velvet bag for storing and all the tools you'll need. I could easily use these for other crafts throughout the year. They did not bend and break like the ones we get at grocery stores, great bang for your buck.
