My rimless 36g Bowtank glass measured @ 4.5 mm thick but the 6mm didn't fit, so I ordered the 8mm and it fits well. The plastic clips are strong, sturdy.They aren't snug, slide easily where you need to put them. I used 10 clips which holds my glass Top Fin lid 30in without issue. Tank size: 30wx12dx (15in at bow)×18h. Had to make a cover for the bow part so, it works for now till Top Fin makes a lid for this tank, 😆! Makes for easy access and feeding.

They do what they are supposed to. Really sturdy and blend in to the aquarium. The package comes with way more than I needed. Am quite happy with these.

I purchased these for an all glass aquarium with glass lid that was missing one of the supports. These worked amazing even when my cat decided she wanted to stand on the lid and watch the fish swim around. She is roughly 11 pounds and everything held up well.
