Love the fabric weights. they are heavy enough to keep patterns/fabric from moving instead of pinning. The colors are cute.Pinning is so teadious I used these to hold my patterns while cutting the fabric. I no longer have to worry about tearing my paper pattern since these just sit on top and allows less holes in the fabric because theres no pins involved.

This set of pattern weights feel like they have enough weight to hold down a pattern that you want to quickly rotary cut around. They will slide around if bumped but, not too bad. They are wrapped with ribbon with the ribbon ends glued down in the center hole. I think that the ribbon will get dirty with use. These weights each, are about 1-7/8"w with a 3/4" hole and 1/4" thick. I would use them on patterns that there aren't a lot of details to cut and you want it done quickly.

The pattern weights seem to be made of some kind of metal indeed, although I cannot see it so I cannot tell which kind. They are covered in pretty ribbon and glued shut, so no core is peeking. I hope it is not something that can rust or otherwise corrode in the presence of air. The weights are good size and quite heavy. And they do look cute with all the different colored ribbons.

I love these sewing weights! They’re my favorite sewing weights because they don’t budge while I’m working. They feel sturdy and well-made, giving me confidence that my fabric will stay in place. I’m so impressed with how well they perform that I plan to get more. Highly recommended for anyone who needs reliable sewing or drafting weights!
