Lasko fue fundada en 1906 por Henry Lasko en Filadelfia. Cuando Estados Unidos se trasladó a los suburbios a mediados del siglo XX, Lasko se expandió en pequeños electrodomésticos, ventiladores y calentadores portátiles domésticos. La verdad leí las reseñas y estaba un poco escéptica porque dicen que no tiene mucha potencia. Está SÚPER BIEN, las reseñas parece que quieren UN TORNADO EN SU CASA. Para una casa está perfecto, tiene una potencia súper buena, funciona muy bien, control remoto, está bonito, liviano y de buen tamaño.Lo recomiendo ampliamente :)

Me gusta que también tenga controles manuales (por si se pierde o descompone el remoto). Cuatro botones: Encendido/Apagado, Potencia (tres velocidades), Apagado Automático (Sleep 1hrs 2hrs 4hrs), Oscilación. En efecto es silencioso pero ó porque no es muy potente. Aunque es obvio porque es de bajo consumo (no se puede tener todo). Sirve bien para un cuarto mediano o para espacio personal.

Lo uso solamente en la recámara y logra enfriar adecuadamente. Las funciones son básicas, 3 niveles de velocidad, modo oscilatorio y temporizador. Lo único malo es que a los pocos meses empezó a hacer un ruido, nadas intenso que no deje dormir.

Si lo quieres para un clima no caluroso está bien por que el nivel de potencia no es mucho , es silenciosos pero el nivel uno y dos no hecha casi aire y tiene que estar cerca para que se sienta la ventilación

Le doy 5 estrellas al producto. Nos gustó el diseño, su funcionamiento, todo. Nos habría gustado que tuviera un poco más de potencia; en ese sentido le daría 4 estrellas, aunque creo que yo debí informarme más sobre ese aspecto antes de hacer la compra. No me siento engañado ni nada de eso. Es óptimo para recámaras no demasiado amplias y excelente para ayudarte a conciliar el sueño en noches calurosas por su temporizador y control remoto, el nuestro funciona perfecto.Volvería a comprar este modelo para un familiar que necesite refrescar su habitación y no pueda moverse demasiado, como alguien de la tercera edad, por ejemplo.Y para la sala o la cocina volvería a comprar la marca, pero un modelo más potente.

Used it for all of summer 2023. Different air flow control with remote is very helpful. Not very heavy either so can carry between different rooms in your house. My concern is the noise. It's quite high and if you have a toddler or small kids it will wake them up. Also, the material isn't that great. I doubt if this could last more than 2 summers.

I bought this fan for my bedroom because I wanted a quiet and efficient way to cool down during the summer nights. I have to say that I am very impressed with this product. It has a sleek and modern design that fits well with my decor, and it is easy to operate with the remote control. The fan has three speeds, and they are all very quiet. I can barely hear it when it is on the lowest setting, and even on the highest setting, it is not too loud. The fan also has a built-in timer that lets you set it to run for up to 7 hours, which is very convenient. I like that I can set it to turn off automatically when I fall asleep, and not worry about wasting energy or getting too cold.The fan has a wide oscillation range that covers most of my room, and it produces a nice breeze that feels refreshing. This is not an air conditioner. I want everyone to understand that if you live in a hot humid state (like I do) and you don't have central air in your house (like I do) then you need to get a window ac unit to actually cool down a room. That being said, this a great directional cooling fan! I love this thing. I also bought the Lasko space heater for the cold winters so I recommend this brand to all my friends and family. I prefer the tower fan to pedestal fan because pedestals just circulate existing air, where towers blow out cooler air and are much more directional when you plan on sitting or laying for long periods. I use this fan mostly during the day when I plan on being at my desk for several hours. I will turn my ac unit up a few degrees so it's not running as often and I turn this fan on to keep me cool if I get too warm. The remote control is easy to use and it has a 1-7 hour timer, 3 fan speeds, and oscillation. The lowest speed is pretty quiet but the highest speed has a slight humming noise but it's much more quiet than my window ac unit. I use it while I sleep sometimes too when the heat and humidity is insane and it definitely helps me sleep.

Living in Southern California means dealing with the katabatic winds known as the Santa Anas. Generally, they begin in the late summer and last into early fall, and - to put it mildly - they suck! Now, it's only mid-June as I write this, but within a couple weeks the temperature will start to climb into the 80°s, by the end of July we'll be in the 90°s, August & September will see us in the 100°s. Let me tell you... I. Hate. Being. Hot. Especially at night when I'm trying to sleep. As it happens, my old fan took a dump last week, which sucked but at least at least it wasn't 90-fricken-degrees outside, and I had ample time to replace it. This one was very reasonably priced ($38) and I liked that it has a remote control, my old one didn't. This fan was easy to assemble and works well. At speed level 1, it's very quiet. At level 2, it's a still-pleasant white noise. At 3, it's more noticeable, but not so much that it bothers me. Thing is, it's less powerful than my old fan. It's level 3 (highest setting) is equivalent to level 2 on the old one. Thankfully, I also own one of those big round floor fans that blow just shy of tornado-creating, so I'm prepared. Overall, this tower fan looks good and works well, I love the remote control and am glad I paid less than what I would have at Target or Home Depot. I just wish it had a better blow. Yes, feel free to finish that off with, "That's what he said."
