People had complained that it is flimsy, but if you have a good hobby mat, any moisture creates a suction effect that keeps it quite stable. I am well pleased...

Thought it was a bit small for the price, and the plastic or silicone made material is too soft , and not sturdy enough and can easily tumble over , no solid foundation. I'll use this for thinner and lighter art brushes.

I absolutely love this!! It’s perfect for what I need, it’s easy to clean and put away. Would definitely recommend to anyone that paints.

To be honest, I was expecting to love this item. It looked like a checkmark all the boxes on paintbrush storage and cleaning that I was looking for while painting with acrylics. When it arrived, I was surprised to see how small it is while it’s not excessively small. I do wish it was a bit bigger. The biggest downfall is the fact that when expanded the sides are so thin and flimsy I’m fearful that the dirty water is going to pour all over the floor when the side gives ways. Furthermore, once clean and dry it’s very hard to get it to claps back down to flap. This is once again because the sides are so flimsy they can’t fold on the creases. They just crumble up.

If you didn’t know, it’s best to dry your paint brushes upside down, they will last much longer. It is actually hard to find many brush holders that will allow this. This container holds water while you paint and can be used to hold your brushes during painting and afterwords when the brushes have been rinsed. Drying them in this manner keeps the brush from separating from the handle. A bonus is that the container is collapsible and can be used during travel. (I would not mind if there were a non collapsing version as well - just be mindful when it is full that you don’t knock it and tip it over and spill the water (not really a problem unless you are extremely clumsy!)
