I have one of those big U shaped body pillows and I definitely notice a decline in my quality of sleep when I travel without it. So I ordered this pillow in the hopes that it would do a passable job while fitting in my luggage.When I opened the box, I was immediately disappointed as the carrying case was very small. However, the pillow that came out of it and fluffed up over 24 hours is not tiny. (There's also no way it's going back in that case) It actually has the shape and the size to provide support at my thoughts and knees to help keep the hips level while side sleeping.I wasn't sure about the button closure for the strap that keeps it on your leg, but after having used it, I find it superior to the Velcro found on similar pillows. The gray jersey fabric is soft and doesn't snag on things. And the cover comes off for washing.All in all, great value and has become part of my travel essentials kit.

I've considered getting a molded pillow like this for a long time. The inclusion of the wide, soft strap and washable cover is what made this item a no-brainer, along with the very reasonable price. I have used it for about a week now and find it comfortable. It stays in place reasonably well, but I have tightened the strap twice. I think it may stretch out fairly easily, but I started on the largest size. The strap is adjusted with a button, which is very large and smooth and holds the strap securely.The pillow is wedge-shaped, so one side is thicker than the other, which helps support the thighs more naturally above the knee. I am 6'1 with fairly big thighs, and this feels comfortable to me. I had previously been using a thinner memory foam pillow that would inevitably end up on the floor or at the foot of the bed. This one is hard to misplace thanks to the strap.

It took me a couple of nights to feel comfortable with this orthopedic knee pillow. My physical therapist recommended that I use a pillow between my knees because I am a side sleeper. A regular pillow is too bulky, and a smaller pillow will just get lost. This is specifically designed for this purpose and features a wide adjustable strap to hold it onto your leg, and concave surfaces to keep your legs from slipping off. It is made of a resilient memory foam type substance and covered with a breathable fabric. The covering zips off so it can be hand washed, and the foam portion they recommend sponging clean if necessary.The two downsides are that it doesn't come with any instructions ( other than the washings instructions on the sewn in label ), and the included carrying case is very hard to put back on.The first night I did not find it comfortable, but that was probably because I wasn't using it right. It should go on your thigh with the strap on the upper thigh. The strap adjust with several button holes. The first night was too loose. Tightening up held it more securely and led to a more comfortable sleep. ( No knee pain all night! )Having a carrying case to bring it with me when I travel is essential. The included carrying case is compact and has a carrying handle and a zipper closure. The problem is in order to make it fit in the case you have roll the pillow up very tightly and it is exceedingly difficult to get the pillow into the case while holding it rolled up. ( Perhaps instructions would help here. ) I ended up ripping the carrying case getting the pillow back in, and had a pretty hard time getting it out again too! A better design for the case would be a canvas roll with hook and loop fasteners to hold it. Then you would just roll it up like a burrito!With all considered I think it is a good investment if you are looking to improve your quality of sleep.

Used this for the first time last night. This orthopedic pillow is just what I needed. I like that is thick and not to big, slept with in between my knees all night with no knee pain. I have bone on bone knees and pain. I have been using a regular bed pillow for years but always gets thrown on floor because just didn't fit right, too big. I can tell that my body is more aligned with the use of this pillow. If you suffer with knee and joint pain this is perfect for you. Came is a long cylinder nice nylon cover and the minute you take it out it inflates immediately, ready to use. The material and foam are top quality, the shape and size are perfect. There is a strap that is attached to the pillow if needed I just flipped it over to the other side. I highly recommend this pillow for anyone with body pain related issues. Fantastic price also.

This knee pillow felt really comfortable in my hands so I was looking forward to using it, but, unfortunately, I didn't find it comfortable to sleep with.The strap also liked to slide down my leg, if I moved around too much, and I think the elastic just stretches out really quickly. I do love the strap idea, though, and it was a selling point.I'm still going to try to figure out a more comfortable way to make the knee pillow work, but haven't been thrilled with it so far.
