This thing is great as it has a large surface and magnifies across the entire surface. Hangs around my neck giving me hands free to tie knots for fishing. Love how the adjustable bending neck band works..can cinch it tighter anywhere.

I bought this magnifier to do some finer needle work, but it is too 'clunky': The steel wire cord will not ever stay folded up and then sit straight in front of me on the table (the wire cord takes up too much room and I constantly bump into it). Around my neck it shifts as I'm breathing, so that's not an option either. The lens itself ... those pictures do NOT represent the product at all!!! The lens is NOT clear. The lens has that typical circle pattern and it completely distorts the view of whatever I'm looking at. I stuck myself with the needle more with this magnifying lens than when I stitch without it.

Once the neck holder and distance for imaging was established, it works perfectly. Does not require tech ability which made it perfect for my 99yr old mother in law.

La lupa se ve excelente, pero el plástico (donde va la lupa) es un tanto frágil, por lo que debe manejarse con cuidado para no romperlo, ya que si se aplica fuerza de más o no se dobla adecuadamente, se rompe.

Sometimes I work with small pearls and beads, that are difficult to thread. This magnifier has solved that problem. It's useful for activities that require two hands, like pearl knotting.Because I am petite, it took a while to find the right way to adjust the flexible over the neck holder. I made it wide enough to fit around my shoulders and it works fine. The magnifier adjusts to whatever angle is needed to get the best visual acuity. For me, it's the middle of the magnifier. I can use it wearing my prescription glasses.Easy to Hold is an odd quality to rate as this is not a hand held magnifier. It's meant to be worn around the neck, but it's easy enough to hold if you need to use it that way.There is no light, which is why I rated it one.The magnifier does not come with instructions, but it was easy to assemble.
