Because I "over" rely on the photographs on Amazon's Product Description Pages, I was under the assumption that I was getting 2 Soap Holders for $19.99 which I felt was a reasonable deal. I am always on the lookout for useful products that are rental friendly. So, anything that DOESN'T involve hammers, nails, drills etc. is of immediate interest to me. So, anything that DOES involve adhesives, suction, removable peel & sticks instantly catches my eye. Being a renter has made me commitment shy, lol.When I saw this product (aside from thinking I would be getting 2), I felt it would be just what I wanted & needed for the shower & the wall behind my sink. Having the option of placing the Soap Holders either vertically or horizontally, really pleased me. Having received just one, didn't really lessen the elation over having that option. Because of my "commitment shyness", I can change my mind about which direction my soap holder is placed in the shower. I actually need to stand in my tub in order to figure out the optimum location & height of whatever I put in there. Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this!!Ok, so once the location & height & direction of the Soap Holder was decided upon, it was time to try out the "Bionic Vacuum Technology" also known as suction cup/s. Once I installed it I found that the Soap Holder stuck & remained that way (so far) even with 2 bars of freshly unwrapped soap. According to the literature on the Product Description Page this is "based on the bionics octopus sucker principle, [and because] the suction cup is made of updated material, which holds up to 11 LBS, stronger than the previous one.I haven't been using this Soap Holder for longer than 21 days so I can't really vouch for its long term use. Once I have, should I discover something worth mentioning, I'll be back to edit &/or update this review. So, my rating is based on short term use, the Soap Holder's visually inoffensive colour, strength, option of placement, option of RE-placement/relocation, option of being able to remove it easily & without damage*, having a draining tray for each soap dish, visually inoffensive colour & just being renter-friendly in general is worth the $19.99 & the high rating. At the time of this writing, you can purchase 2 for 5% off (now they tell me, lol).*A removal "tool" that resembles a credit or debit card is included. It's been a few days and everything works like it should. I cleaned the surface before installation, pressed it like said in the instructions and it feels solid. It's nice that it has a lower tray that you can keep or remove to let the water out, meaning that during the shower you can remove it while the water is running, and put it back after your shower so you don't get soap residues on the floor of your shower.Overall pleased with this, and the price is really reasonable at the time of my review. The only thing that I would have liked that is not possible with this is to be able to set it diagonally. So it's not too wide and soap from the upper tray doesn't go into the lower one.

Most of the products I use in the shower are in bar form so I definitely needed this. Unfortunately, it didn't stay stuck, but to be fair the tiles in my shower have a weird unevenness to them. This unevenness was bit a problem for other suction cup shelves I've used before but for some reason this little soap holder just really didn't like it. I was really disappointed but I've stuck it up on the wall outside the shower where the tiles are flat and smooth and so far it has stayed up there. So I'm using it for extra storage around my sink. It is very sticky and I had to use the little card it came with to scrape it off when I wanted to reposition it on the other tiles so I'm really confused as to how it didn't stick on my shower tiles even though other suction cups do.Other than the issues with getting it to stay up, it is a nice design with the option to have it vertical or horizontal. The materials are a bit plasticky, and the drip tray will fall out when you're putting it up. It's not a huge deal since you're not likely to be moving it around a lot but it seems like there should be a least a little something to help keep it in.Overall, a neat design for storing bars in the shower, though it doesn't stick to all types of tile.
