These lights worked incredibly well for high beams. The output on a Buick Encore is excellent for seeing far down a country road, which I have to drive down every day for work. Had 10-year-old stock halogens still going strong, or so I thought. When I installed these, they didn't work. I unplugged them and reversed the connector on both sides and they finally worked, but not before I tried to unscrew one of the lights from the socket on the headlight assembly. This is when I noticed that, at least for my vehicle, the retainer ring came off from the light and stayed in the assembly. I had to play around with it and carefully insert the light back into the retainer ring that was stuck to the housing, and it took some effort with my hands to get the light AND the retainer ring back off of the housing, but I was able to get it. This is a good feature for rotational alignment within the housing, to get the beam pattern correct, but it seems like it might be TOO easy to rotate and sometimes it ends up that the LED light Body can come unscrewed from the retainer ring when you don't want it to do that. Attached some pictures to point that out.However, It does fit very snugly and I'm not worried about it being too loose or shaking over bumps, even though it's very heavy compared to the stock 9005 bulb (of course, it is bigger and heavier). It seems like a robust aluminum design, good sealing O-rings, and the black LED Driver body is compact enough to slip inside my housing, some cars might have more trouble getting it to fit inside the light behind the dust caps if it has them, but the driver module is pretty small. Hopefully they last at least 10 years like the stock halogens, because the output is at least double or triple of stock!

I bought this for my 2023 Kia Forte GT-Line which oddly enough was equipped with halogen headlights (yuck). We all know that halogen lights are not only not visually appealing, but they simply do not serve as the best guide in night time conditions. I found out how easy it is to make the change to LED and heard great things about this brand specifically! I must say, these lights are AMAZING!! They are bright and did not throw any errors upon install. The only thing that was tricky is that they do not have a +- indicator or them so it was a bit of trial and error in ensuring that I had them installed the right way. I also thought that one them was faulty, but the reality was that the prongs were bent a bit inward which was an easy fix but worth noting in case anyone else faces this issue. Im looking forward to less money spent on replacing dated halogen lights and soaking in the peace of mind and convenience of LED lights.

Upgraded fog lights from halogen. Amazon says they don't fit my truck, worked fine. Just installed and looks great. Direct plug in. Pay attention to how the old light comes out so you know how the ring should be clocked on led lights.

You see everything on the road with the projector style headlamps using these led bulbsOne person wrote a review that the light is all over the road I'm guessing they probably did not properly install the led bulbs. Don't just throw them in make sure they are pointing the correct direction. Also I haven't tried them in Reflector style headlamps so I can't comment on thoseThese give off more of a 6500k look which in my opinion is the best look which is pure white with that very light lavender purple look added.Make sure the Yellow LED chip light is facing the same direction as a regular bulb would shine inside the headlamp so the light shine on the road correctlyAnother thing make sure the medal part of the wires a NOT touching any other wires because it gets really hot which is naturalI gave a 4 star because it didn't lock in very tightly to the housing of a Ford SUV vehicle
