This crepe maker feels a little cheap and the temperature was inconsistent. I was able to make some decent crepes for my children though.

This is quite an interesting tool that I'm actually very happy with, because it allows you to make such consistent and beautiful crepes in a timely manner making them at a really nice size as well. I love how it automatically sets the controlled temperature to ensure you are getting a perfect heat and making your job that much easier. The nonstick coating that it has is also very useful and essential, so that you won't have a mess, and it won't prolong your journey of making the crepes, which I am very happy with. I also love the little battered tray that makes the preparation of your crepe so much easier in the meantime, while one is cooking. This is just a really nice product that, although it isn't necessary for every kitchen, it is definitely something that makes the process so much smoother, especially if you're not a professional, but want an amazing dish which is a great tradeoff on the price for something so durable that will give you many more to come, thank you very much.

Wasn’t the easiest to use. Crepe mixture kept getting stuck to the pan. Also a plastic plate isn’t a good idea to use with this pan.

If you're in the mood to bring the elegance of crepes to your home kitchen, this 8-inch Electric Crepe Maker might just be the ticket. It's compact, efficient, and undeniably fun to use – though it’s not without its quirks.Design & BuildRight off the bat, the design is sleek and minimalist. The non-stick surface on the cooking plate is a dream – crepes glide off effortlessly with no messy sticking. The machine heats up quickly, and once it reaches the perfect temperature, the fun begins. The automatic temperature control ensures the heat is even, but you’ll still need a bit of trial and error to perfect your technique. The 8-inch size is ideal for personal portions, but it might feel a bit small for big gatherings. If you're planning to serve a large group, expect to spend a little extra time making multiple batches. The compact and portable nature of the crepe maker makes it a solid option for small kitchens, or even as a portable addition to brunch parties.Ease of UseUsing the crepe maker is straightforward enough, timing and batter amounts can be tricky. You need just the right amount of batter in the shallow dish before dipping the pan in. Too much, and it will overflow, too little, and you might not get a perfect crepe. It took a few tries to get the process down – but once you nail it, the results are fantastic. One important thing to note: flipping the crepe can be a bit tricky, especially if you're trying to avoid splashing batter everywhere. A little practice goes a long way here. Pro tip: don’t dip the pan too deep or keep it in the batter too long to avoid messy overflows. If you manage that, you’ll have flawless crepes in no time!Cooking PerformanceThe crepes cook beautifully – golden brown with crisp edges and soft centers. The non-stick plate makes flipping and serving easy, but don’t expect it to be entirely foolproof. Some users reported occasional burnt edges, and while it’s likely due to user error, the machine’s lack of adjustable temperature control means you’re stuck with the default heat setting, which may not always be perfect.CleaningCleaning can be a bit of a chore. The non-stick surface is great, but if batter drips over the sides, it can be a bit of a hassle to clean. It’s not submersible, so you have to carefully wipe it down without getting the inside wet – a bit of a design flaw . But if you act quickly after cooking, a damp cloth does the job.Size & PortabilityThe compact size of this crepe maker makes it great for small kitchens or taking it to a party for some DIY crepe-making fun. However, be warned that the power cord is really short – like, ridiculously short. This can make it tricky if your outlet isn’t nearby. Consider grabbing an extension cord to save yourself the hassle.Final ThoughtsOverall, the 8-inch Electric Crepe Maker is a great option for those looking to experiment with making crepes at home. It’s fun, portable, and creates delicious results – but it requires a bit of patience and practice to master. The short cord and lack of adjustable temperature control might frustrate some, but for most home cooks, it’s a worthwhile addition to the kitchen for a weekend brunch or special occasions. If you’re a crepe enthusiast or just love trying new gadgets, this little machine will deliver on its promise. Just be ready for a few messy attempts before you get the hang of it!

Crêpes are a nice snack to make at home and this definetly makes it unique to try. All you do is plug it in, wait a couple minutes for the heat and then start cooking. The plate for the batter is thin and can only hold around a cup of flour recipe worth of crepe batter. I added egg and soy milk to mine which is why I think my consistency was thicker. You dont need alot of batter for this but I think it needs to be more watery. The reason why I like it is that it does make that thin layer BUT the reason it loses a star for me is that it's actually really hard to do. I get the concept- flip in and flip out but because the plate is so hot, when I flip it in the batter, it actually started to cook a layer on the top of the batter but when I flipped it over, It would leave that layer in the batter plate and not on the actual crepe maker. This meant now my batter wasn't going to be clean because it has a layer on the top that's cooked which is why my end product doesn't look pretty.I also gave up trying to fix it and just dumped the rest onto the hot plate. I mean, it cooks fast, and it can be thin but it really takes practice. But- a crepe is a crepe!
