I bought this leash specifically for its locking aspect, after seeing too many dogs accidentally get loose when their basic lobster-claw leash attachment got caught on something. I'm very protective of my pup, and this leash with its auto-locking carabiner is perfect.

This was my first Made to Roam purchase, and I couldn't be happier. Absolutely superb quality leash with ultra-secure carabiner hook up to your dog's leash or harness. Excellent color selection that matches perfectly with Made to Roam's selection of collars and harnesses. This is the nicest leash I've ever owned. Great for medium to large-sized dogs. It may be a bit heavy duty for little breeds, but maybe not. I highly recommend this leash and just about anything from this brand. Top quality materials and workmanship that will last a long time. Superb!

Was a little worried, that the collar and leash set would be too wide and / or too heavy, for my 5 month old white labrador.But, my lil guy (Bodega) fell in love with it the second it arrived.Definitely recommended getting both. the collar and leash set.Dropped a star BC this ring on the loop handle.The constant "ding" can get annoying at times.But will re-visit / update review. Once I figure out how to stop the "dinging". since, apparently, you can’t cut it off.
