Remote auto programmed to the TV instantly after putting in the batteries. Main reason for the purchase was for the voice control which does not work. I also tried using Google with no resolutionTo activate voice control on an LG AN-MR22GA-Voice remote, ensure your TV settings have voice recognition enabled, then press and hold the microphone button on the remote while speaking your command; most LG TVs require you to say "Hi LG" before your command to initiate voice control.

Connected to my lg tv instantly. All I did was put batteries in and it worked

My old remote was broken. This is an exact replacement. Just put batteries in and use it. Great price too !

Same model as the remote that came with my TV but once I set it up still months later, I cannot turn the TV on or off with this remote. I have to physically press the button or use the LG app. Also, sometimes they just does not work at all so I have to take the batteries out and put them back in just to turn the volume up or something simple I definitely will be going directly to LG and buying a replacement remote again waste of money in my opinion, but good for if you don’t have the app and just absolutely need to have something to watch TV
