Un cuchillo de calidad es una herramienta esencial para tener cuando te diriges a una excursión al aire última intervensión. Puede ser útil en una variedad de situaciones, desde cortar cuerdas enredadas, cortar pescado recién capturado, abrir una almeja y mucho más. La cosa es que algunos cuchillos no están cortados para su uso en entornos de agua salada. Como tal, tienden a oxidarse, romperse y perder su integridad estructural después de la exposición a largo plazo. Por suerte, no todos los cuchillos son iguales.

El agua salada puede tener efectos perjudiciales en los cuchillos de acero a base de carbono, ya que acelera la oxidación y la corrosión. Sin embargo, con este cuchillo, esto no debería ser un problema, ya que está diseñado específicamente para entornos marinos.
A pesar del nombre, este cuchillo plegable no es solo ideal para aventuras cerca o en entornos de agua salada. Es una gran herramienta para tener contigo en cualquier aventura al aire última intervensión, incluyendo senderismo, camping, caza, pesca en agua dulce y otros.
Mango y hoja de alta calidad
El mango de 4.5 pulgadas está hecho de nailon reforzado con fibra de vidrio (FRN). Es adecuado para entornos húmedos, ya que es completamente impermeable al óxido y tiene una excelente textura antideslizante. También son muy duraderos y prácticamente indestructibles.
La hoja de acero inoxidable de 3.1 pulgadas tiene bordes dentados con capacidades excepcionales de corte o aserrado. Mantiene su nitidez durante más tiempo y se mantiene bien contra la corrosión, astillado y otros daños causados por el uso regular.

I keep this knife on me whenever we are roping calves. It will cut through a rope like butter if we ever get in a bad situation. Great quality.

Me gustó la herramienta, pero en la imagen el mango se ve de color amarillo y en físico es color amarillo fluorescente, quizá solo ese detalle, pero no afecta en nada su funcionalidad.

Existe en el mundo del EDC trofeos y piezas increíbles, lo disfruto mucho, pero también se requiere algo usable, funcional y que no te deje tirado, esta navaja es eso y más.Un todo terreno que no se achica, te maravilla y encuentras que te acompaña diario.Solo debes pulir algunos bordes del mecanismo, en mi caso estaban propensos a cortar al abrir o cerrar la navaja, una vez tomado acción sin problema.

This is a really nice knife, especially for the money I just received it and haven’t had a chance to use it on the water yet, so this review is very limited.This knife is incredibly sharp. It’s one of the sharpest knives I have ever received. I hope that it keeps its edge for a long time.The knife opens easily and feels great in your hand. It’s nonslip grip is comfortable and I’m sure it will not slide out of your hand easily. It has a nice clip to keep it in your pocket. After I’ve had this on the ocean for a couple of months I’ll update this review.

I want to preface this review by saying I am a bit of a knife snob. I usually carry brands like ZT, Benchmade, Spyderco, and US made Kershaw. I bought this to go in my extra set of turnouts. I basically wanted something I would consider disposable. I selected it because it looked similar to the Spyderco rescue I carry in my main turnouts and it had good reviews.It really is decent for the price. Honestly I did not expect a knife for under $20 would be as nice as this was but thought I would give it a shot. The edge is not terrific but the serrations are pretty aggressive and it easily cut through a rope. Now, I do not expect that it would hold an edge if used this way repeatedly but I rarely use the knife I carry in my turnouts and since the set of turnouts do not get much use it will probably be used even less so I expect it will hold an edge well enough for my purposes.In the hand it feels relatively solid but when you open the blade there is a bit of play side to side. I'm not crazy about that but once again as long as it does not snap on me I think it will be okay.It definitely is a cheap budget knife which is why I'm reading it is highly as I am. It would not be fair to hold it to the standards of other knives that I'm used to. Overall it is not bad for the price point and for occasional use.

Buenos acabados. Tiene buen peso, el diseño es bueno y cómodo. Cuenta con sistema de bloqueo de seguridad cuando la navaja esta abierta.

una muy buena navaja para cortar materiales fibrosos...para telas y similares o plastico..muerde y desgarra...no deja un borde nitido...es de uso rudo y bueno para jardineria y cosas asi...el pan y la carne funciona...para madera y trabajos finos ahi falla un poco...ahi mejor un filo liso...o para acompañar tu filo liso con esta navaja serrada...asi puedes cortar lo que sea...pappel si se puede cortar nitido con la punta...como cutter....

I came across this Maxam branded knife searching for a rescue knife for both my IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit) bag and ankle holster. I was looking at Hogue and Spyderco so when I saw the price tag of this knife (under $20) I just had to order it. Honestly, I was not expecting much and figured I would be returning it to Amazon for refund and purchasing a couple Spyderco. I just received the knife and to say I am surprised by the quality is an understatement. Balance, fit, finish, feel, mechanics, are all top notch. One handed opening and closing, no problem. The serrated blade is razor sharp with a very nice grind. This things got Spyderco written all over it. So now I'm thinking this thing just can't hold up in use, but I got a feeling that I'm in for another pleasant surprise. Time will tell. I just ordered a second one.

Creo por precio calidad es buen producto pero se debería mejorar el material del mango(cacha) muy buen filo y bonito diseño
