Purchased to frame and hang a painting my daughter did. Canvas fits perfectly in frame and is easy to attach with the velcro tabs included. Frame is sturdy and looks great. Very pleased.

Beware when buying this from Amazon. The frame is good value for price, but only if arrives undamaged. Amazon sent it in a flimsy plastic bag and it was dented. It was so poorly packaged, I am surprised it was only a dent. This should be sent wrapped in bubble wrap.

These frames are sturdy, look good and inexpensive. Purchased 3 to put my beginner-paintings into to improve their looks. Amazing how much a frame can amp up the look! Just have to pop the canvas into the frame after removing the wrappings... that simple. Velcro is included so canvas does not shift! I would purchase again!

It is reasonably priced and does the job. I am an artist and when framing paintings for sale I have to consider how much the framing cost will increase the price I have to charge. I am pleased with this frame, it looks good and feels solid. This is the second one I have ordered and they both arrived on time and undamaged. Contrary to one of the answers, it is not a metal frame. My 11" x 14" painting (photos included) fits well in the frame and I was able to attach the wire easily with two small eye-screws.It was also very easy to install the canvas by first placing the enclosed 'velcro' pieces to the already attached pieces, then place the canvas in the centre of the frame. The canvas is very secure to be hung on a wall, but for handling purposes (in art shows, etc.) I attached two small wires from the canvas back to the eye-screws, that way it will not get accidentally pushed out of the frame.

It worked well for my 11 x 14 canvas painting. I didn't trust the velcro and didn't want the painting falling out of the frame so I purchased small wood screws and screwed the painting to the frame from the back. The frame comes with serrated hangers but I already had a wire hanger attached to the painting so I notched the frame around the eyelets. These modifications added a little extra cost but I'm happy with the result. The frame comes in a flat black finish which nicely hides the 1/4 gap around the painting.
