If going to be around water or going to get wet this hat has bonus points for utility. Easy to clean a sweat band that inevitably forms on every hat around the brim so that is great as well. Expensive but best hat I own.

MELIN is the real deal and worth every penny! Great fit, floats, and incredible quality. A must buy.

I was skeptical about buying a hat for $70, but after spending a week with it in the pool while on vacation and no water stains, sweat stains or any issues, I'm really happy. Actually bought a second one at the hotel as they had cobranded Melin hats. Ended up buying my wife a couple of their hats as well. They are heavier than other hats, which was odd at first, but that's due to their premium construction. Looking forward to checking out the Hydro-Lite version. It's also nice they offer different size variations, even though it's an adjustable hat. If you want a hat that will hold up in the water and is built well, then these are a great option. Expensive, but good value!

Love my Melin hat! The fit is great, I am a 7 1/8 and the S/M fit me perfect. I wear it as a performance hat while exercising outdoors. It’s doesn’t stain with my sweating which was most important. It’s breathes good and it’s solidly built.It’s tough to spend that much on a hat, but I have tried the knockoffs and they just don’t compare. I will buy Melin hats from now on!

Love the hat brand.. super upset that my 70$ hat was delivered in a bag and was crushed.. why wouldnt you put the hat In box..
