Hands down 5 Stars product, and it's at a very reasonable price $35 CDN + tax. Keep in mind MOEN provides life time warranty, yes it works, I replaced a few of their faucet cartridges, free shipping, free replacement no questions asked, but you need to provide a proof of photo of the MOEN product for the warranty claim. Some really bad sellers are selling MOEN replacement parts at ridiculous prices, don't fall for their traps, you can get free replacement on MOEN products (at least I know for Faucet stuff).Installation - very easy - there are some parts in the spout you need to align to fit onto the pipe, that's basically all you need to watch out for, then tighten the set screw (don't over tighten), once you feel there is enough tension, don't continue to tighten, otherwise you might damage the pipe if the set screw/parts are pressed against the pipe too tightly (Big Trouble to fix / re-solder the pipe).No Leaks - the first one I bought about 2 years ago still working solidly, no leaks when you lift the tab up for shower head. And of course no weird or bad splashes down the spout. I just bought a second one today and installed it less than 5 minutes.The build and material are better than your no name cheap $20 tub spouts. Just the diverter tab itself feels more premium than others. And it does look different (better) than other standard tub spouts.Note: you need to check the length of your pipe, this spout may not fit some pipes that are longer than what's specified in the product - 5-1/2-inch length. Provides 4-3/4 in. of clearance.

Need a replacement for my previous moen. It was dirty and moldy.This came on time and looked great. Extremely easy to put on.Basically slid right on and works great. Shower pin does not fall easily and stays in place as it should.Good product

I'm happy with it. It doesn't leak and it fits nicely. The previous homeowners had cut part of the threads on the stem and put on a screw on spout that leaked back up into the stem and into the wall and into the ceiling and wall below. I cut down the stem to fit this spout and it was a perfect fit. All the water now goes out the spout or diverted to the showerhead. No more leaks. :) It is nothing fancy, but works well.

I bought a tub diverter spout locally from a big box store. All the big box stores in town sold the same type of spout, & that is a universal spout that fits any kind of pipe coming out of the wall(copper pipe, threaded steel pipe, etc.). It was a real pain to assemble & leaked after spending 45 minutes trying to understand the very lengthy assembly instructions & installing it. The original spout & the universal spout have a set screw that crushes & damages the copper pipe. After I read all the great reviews about the Moen tube diverter spout, I deceided to give it a try. My copper pipe was eaten up & corroded where the rubber o'ring on the original spout & universal spout was trying to seal. Moen put the o'ring in a non standard position, which allows the o'ring to seal on a virgin area of the copper pipe. The Moen spout sealed great, took about 3 minutes to install & unlike other brands of spouts that have a set screw that deforms the copper pipe when tightened and even worse possibly piercing the pipe when tighted, Moen has a screw that you turn to hold the spout in place, but the screw does not contact the copper pipe, the job of the screw is to push a "U" shaped wedge against the pipe, allowing pressure to be spread over a very large area of the copper pipe resulting in no distorting or damage.The advantages of the Moen spout saved me from having to get a plumber out to replace the copper pipe, & a painter out to repair the sheetrock the plumber would have had to damage to make an access hole to get to the piping. The spout is not metal, it is plastic, but that does not bother me. The chrome finish on the spout is very high quality. I am very, very happy with this product!
