Was totally led to believe that I wouldn't have any pooping when plugging and unplugging using this cord. It definitely has not been "silent". I'm disappointed overall. The quality seems to be there but I feel like I was misled for the amount of money that I spent.

Great cable construction, flexibility, connectors etc. But the whole point in getting this cable was to be able to connect/disconnect without popping the amp/PA. When we tried it connecting went flawless. But the first disconnect popped the speakers. I conjecture that since you have to pull the connector out quarter inch before the sleeve extends and mutes the signal, there was the pop then?I any event, it didn't work for what we needed. Will be returning it and going with the "Mute button" style. It requires the guitarist knows about it and if the mute button is only on one end of the cable, to pull that end out first, but that's easy to explain. Sorry Mogami.

Not cheap but a good design and it works exactly as intended. No more pops when plugging in or out of my guitar and no noise when it's not plugged in (I can't easily either turn the amp off or disconnect at that end first)

the mogami silent cables are fantastic. High quality, like you'd expect with Mogami, but with the benefit of silent connectors. Unplug the guitar and there is NO noise. You don't need to mute the amp. Switch between guitars seamlessly. Well worth the money.

Just what I wanted from a name I could trust. These are by far the best pro set I’ve ever used. The noise is gone and it’s just you, the strings and the music.
