First pulled out of the box found that the retainer clip for the hinge rod that holds it into place was broken on one side. Looked for the pieces inside the box. The box was sealed up could not find the pieces so it looks like it was sent out broken. After installing the sidecaps next to the stop on the tailgate. Looks like it does not fit flush to the tailgate. When pressing the cap down to clip into place the top of it cracked.

Installed this product on my F350, and pulled the step down a total of 3 times before the interior mechanism broke resulting in a nonfunctional step. This is a cheap product that I do not recommend. I will be ordering the part through Ford directly.
