I lost my original adapter, and was glad to finally receive this one until I realized the cord is literally maybe 3 ft long? Maybe a bit shorter than that. I personally need much more reach and wiggle room than that. I'm almost certain the original one is longer? Even if it isn't, I learned that the Casio needs a 9.5 V ~ 1 A Output adapter. This one delivers 9 V ~ 2A. I will be honest, I'm not knowledgeable on the specifics when it comes to amps, but I want an exact match to not mess up my piano... 1 more amp/ 0.5 less volts may not be an issue, but I would rather not risk it. It works. It just doesn't meet my expectations.

It's a power supply. It works with my keyboard, the Casio CT X700. There's not much more to say, is there?
