I bought a very expensive MSR tent, so I wanted to protect the bottom of it. I bought this for $60 in March 2024. Currently it's on sale for $47. Pretty much instantly we got a hole in our TENT that pierced through this footprint. After months of use, we now have a couple holes in our tent. When I buy something nice, I take care of it. We are careful with where we place the tent and my husband and I put up/take down the tent together. I hate that these things are so expensive and they don't even do anything. It's a thin piece of plastic. Would we have had more holes if we didn't use it? Maybe. But I shouldn't have holes in my tent so soon.

First - it came dirty, like it had been used once and returned, then sent to us without inspection...Second - the tent Really needs this extra layer of protection for its floor!!!Third - the connection to the tent was not that impressive, instead of clipping, it has corner loops that slip over the existing tent connections...Worked, but seemed like a pretty weak design.Fourth - fit to the tent just right...

Bought this footprint for the MSR Habitude which doesn't come with an included footprint.Just adds a protective layer between your tent and the ground.Well made and recommended product from MSR.
