I ordered two of these, they were shipped at different times for some reason? anyways one is gloss black and has a gouge through the paint from someone previously running a knife through the box even though is has a decal saying "do not open with blade" the second one is semi gloss black and seems ok. the gloss black on is bent more so the holes don't line up and would have to be bent to fit, looks terrible with knife gouge in paint. looks like I got stuck with someones return? now some one is going to get my return later because its going back!

I would love these if they were stainless steel. mild carbon steel will get rusty in just a few months on my Jeep. If you live where they put road salts down in winter, these will rust.

I dinged up one of my bumperettes and had to cut it off to bend back the bumper and then replace it... So I purchased what appeared to be a pair of "Rugged Ridge 12029.20 Black Bumperettes" as listed in the title. The description lists, "Complete the look of your Jeep with these classic bumperettes." Those being the only (and all plural) descriptors and with no product photos from Amazon it appeared that this would be a set of Rugged Ridge bumperettes... however upon receiving the item it is only for ONE bumperette. THe bumperette and hardware are fine, however the description NEEDS to be corrected.
