It works well for my family of 3 who got the same sim. Speed is good and set up is easy since it is not e-sim and no hidden charges

This review is for the 12GB physical SIM card used in an older unlocked, dual SIM, 4G-only phone. The reviews for this card are all over the place, but I took a chance and bought one for a trip to Germany. Surprise, it worked right out of the package with nothing else required on my part. Another big surprise was that I discovered my phone is actually capable of Wi-Fi calling because the option magically appeared in my SIM management menus. I later learned that my phone is "only partially compatible" with my current provider in the US and doesn't allow for Wi-Fi calling. Go figure; took me 4 years to figure that out. 12GB is actually a lot of mobile data; I doubt I even used half of that in two weeks. Speeds were fine when the signal was good. The quirks and annoyances referenced in the title are the following: I was suprised to see the signal connecting to all 3 of the big carriers in Germany (Telekom, Vodaphone, O2) and it jumped around constantly to I guess whichever tower had the strongest signal. You will get a lot of calls from France; some to remind you to register the card (not needed if less than 14 days) and others just garbage from a recycled phone number. You have to dial correctly since you are roaming with a French phone number; basically dialing international long distance wherever you're calling. Also, no MMS is allowed. I know everyone uses apps, but I'm a geezer and like attaching a photo to a short message. For me at least, then, the card worked out great and saved me a ridiculous amount in roaming fees.

No funciona.

This was the best thing I bought before we left for Europe!! Our U.S. cell provider does not offer any type of cellular service option for traveling in Europe. So, I had been considering a burner phone when I discovered this Orange European SIM card. It was the perfect solution. This SIM card will only work in an unlocked phone, in Europe. Because my husband and I both own our iPhones, we did the following BEFORE we left for Europe: (1.) had his iPhone unlocked, (2.) turned on his Roaming (3.) turned on his Personal Hot Spot, and (4.) opened the Orange SIM card package only for the purpose of writing down the new unique European phone number associated with this SIM card. We did NOT install the Orange SIM card until we were in Europe. Then we powered his phone off until we landed in France. Once we landed, we installed the Orange SIM card and carefully placed his original SIM in the package for reuse when we returned to the U.S. In France, we powered up his phone and “Voila” - it literally worked immediately. Because Personal Hotspot was turned on, I could tether my phone to his and all of my services (cellular, text, WiFi, apps) worked as long as I was in close proximity to his phone. This allowed us to use my phone for SIRI and Maps for walking or driving directions in Spain, France and Italy. It was just like being at home with SIRI telling us where to turn and how far to walk to reach any of the iconic destinations or addresses we wanted. It literally would not have been possible to do everything without this SIM card. Orange SIM service is available for 14 days without registering or buying any additional cellular service. After 14 days, if you’re still in Europe, you will need to buy Orange cellular service, which can be done for small intervals of time. When we left Europe, we powered off his iPhone. When we landed in the U.S., we installed his original SIM and everything is working perfectly again on our regular cell service. The Orange SIM card was the EXACT solution I needed in advance for peace of mind, and absolutely invaluable for SIRI’s information. Highly, highly recommend!!! I never needed their tech support, so I have no experience with that aspect. However, we did see a lot of Orange cellular stores all over Europe, so I imagine they would have helped us, if it had been needed.

Purchased 2 of these 30Gb travel cards for our Mediterean cruise so that we had service during our shore excursions. Super easy to install. I did it in the Barcelona airport while in line for customs and immigration. You don't have to enable data roaming before installing the SIM card as this would incure a day charge for your roam like home. Power off the phone, install SIM card, power on the phone. As soon as it powers up, enable the data roaming setting. You'll recive a text from Orange in french. You can use Google translate to translate the message but no need to as it is just a welcome message. No codes to remember, no worries. You will recieve random text messages from Orange during your trip and it is always in french. I translated some of them but usually ignored as the data just worked. So happy with this travel SIM.We had stops in Barcelona Spain, Mallorca Spain, Marseilles France, Cassis France, Florence Italy, Civitavecchia (Rome) Italy, Naples Italy. We had great cell coverage in all stops. Although I never could figure out why we couldn't text message each other. I'm sure it is something I did incorrectly but it wasn't an issue as anything with data worked flawlessly like facebook messenger or whatsapp. I would copy your phone number so that you can easily access it if you need to have someone text you while you are away.On that note, I would HIGHLY recommend installing Whatsapp messing service on your phone! I'm not sure how it worked but any texts or calls going to my Canadian "home" number automatcially forwarded to Whaatsapp with the travel sim installed. Again, totally not sure how this worked but it came in handy for communicating with excursion companies that only had my Canadian phone number. I will definitely purchase this travel SIM again next time we travel to EU as it is so much cheaper than the "Roam like home" charges.I would also like to add that my phone had an unusually large battery drain with the travel SIM installed. It's hard to say if this is due to the increased usage with photos and google maps but I feel like it was abnormally large battery drain compared to my normal everyday usage. Often having to "topup" my battery with an external battery pack sometimes multiple times per day. Based on other reviews, I tried putting my phone in airplane mode while at sea but it didn't seem to make any appreciable difference.
