This was an inexpensive scale and I wasn’t expecting high performance—however, I expected it to be able to carry the weight advertised in the listing (110lbs). The chain broke at what was about 71lbs. Use a secondary security lanyard if you use this, so the thing you’re weighing doesn’t crash.Or spend a little more on a more robust scale.

This scale was consistently within half a pound of what the airport scales weighed our luggage at. It was kind of awkward to hold and weigh with. The numbers are kind of hard to read. Either the blue background needs to be less bright or the black numbers need to be brighter.It fit in my purse to go through security and was handy to have along in our trip.
