I love this. I got it because I was worried about kiddos putting water in the microwave to heat it quickly for things like tea and hot cocoa. It's simple enough that even my youngest can use it without worry. The blue LED lights come on when you turn it on and stay on until it's done boiling and shuts itself off. The kiddos and I have used it almost non-stop. Kettle size is great for us, It allows each of the 5 of us to have a cup of tea or cocoa without wait and it comes to a boil very quickly. Love all the colors it comes it and its a good value for the money spent.

沸騰するまで2時間が少し長く感じます。カラーが他の家電と統一できて気に入っています。注文から届くまでが予定より早かったので助かりました。

Buen precio para una hervidoraEl que el botón de encendido esté junto al de abrir la tapa es un buen detalle y evita alguna rotura accidental como cuando el switch de encendido está en la parte inferior--- Actualización Junio 2024La tapa ya no se queda cerrada, se desgastó la pieza que la mantiene asegurada abajo. Y ahora está sufriendo de problema en el switch pues a veces no prende y hay que usar el rústico método de darle unos golpecitos para que haga contacto. Aún sigue siendo buena keetle, pero me gustaría poder encontrar quién la repare.

Es super fácil de utilizar, la forma de limpiarlo es igual de fácil. A veces se nota un ligero sabor a plástico... pero veo que es más evidente si lo usas veces seguidas sin dejar que se enfríe la tetera entre uso y uso. Para lo que pagas es un buen precio.

Es una súper cafetera, tarda aproximadamente 2 min en hervir el agua, súper funcional y se ve muy padre con los leds azules.

I have seen a lot of reviews for this brand of electric kettles going from good to bad but I purchased the different model and figured I would leave some insight on it. The one I purchased is the Ovente KG66 series that holds 1.8L and has different LED colors for variable temps and also a keep warm setting for those long days or nights that you need the water on stand-by. Looking at the base it is pretty self explanatory that it does sit flat and houses the cord underneath the base. The cord length in total from base to plug is 28" and is thick and seems to be of great quality. The kettle is well made as the majority of it is glass with a steel bottom that houses the heating element underneath so there is no contact with the actual element. The top has a steel upper rim and spout with a filter inside of it so you have the option to make what you want inside without the product falling out into your tea cup. The lid is well made with a plastic underneath the metal top and has a good latch system as you simply press the button on the top and it opens nice and slow with no popping action as to not sling any water. The handle is made of plastic as well but seems strong and thick for a good grip on the handle. The LED lights illuminate accordingly to the set temperature which is easy to set based on the amounts of times you push the button.I do recommend following the instructions that are supplied with it as I did the initial cleansing before having my first cup of tea and had no weird taste to it at all. It heated it up quickly as I did the max amount of water(1.8L) at 212 degrees for cleaning and timed it form start to cut off and got 9:35.56 minutes which is exceptionally better than the old stovetop method. Another thing that is better about this product versus the old traditional method is being able to see or clean the kettle out compared to the ones that you can not get into to clean. Yes I have ended up with some buildup on the inside due to hard water (see picture) but if this is not something you want to deal with then you can purchase distilled water from most stores that will defer this from happening. Over all so far this is one of the best products I have purchased so far and look forward to many years with it as I enjoy tea daily. *A Side Note* I have noticed a lot of people complaining about returns or warranty situations with the company and such but my best advice is first off you only paid $20 or $30 for a product so how long do you expect it to last and second off if this is a concern for you and enjoy pinching those pennies then purchase a fair trade from amazon as it is reasonably cheap and helps with the products at hand. I will update if there is any changes in this product but loving it so far.

This kettle is super cute and does its job well. The water boils quickly. The lid operation is smooth. I've been an a fan of electric kettle for years, but the red trim, clear sides, and light during boiling take this one beyond being merely a utilitarian appliance to something I love seeing on my counter.The one tiny quibble I have is that the design of the handle makes the most natural place to hold when pouring near the top, but this results in your hand getting in the path of the hot steam when you're pouring. That is at most half a star off, because it's not close enough to the steam to be dangerous and only becomes a nuisance when pouring the last little bit out of the kettle. Plus, once I got to know the kettle it's easy to just grab the lower part of the handle instead. On the balance, I adore this kettle.
